Has Lady Gaga Gone Under the Knife?
July 9, 2013 by Emma Reynolds
Lady Gaga has always been one to spark controversy, whether she is parading the city streets covered in raw meat or being scrutinized for her weight. And she is (literally) facing new controversy for getting plastic surgery on her face or, more specifically, rhinoplasty.
At a Gay Pride event in New York last week, Gaga took the stage to speak, but what many realized is that Gaga’s nose appeared to be smaller and thinner sparking rumors the pop star may have gotten work done. Despite personal claims she would never go under the knife, some may think she’s had a change of heart.
“I think promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification,” Gaga said. This is hard to believe considering her always changing, always attention grabbing digs she sports at nearly every public appearance. Lately, Gaga, 27, has gone for the more natural look, exposing a fresh face and potentially a new nose. She has, for the most part, ditched her typical, wacky outfits for a barer look. In 2011, she told Harper’s Bazaar that she was one of the few celebrities that have had plastic surgery, but since then she hasn’t commented on her changing appearance.
Gaga, who is working on her new album, ARTPOP, has also taken some time off Twitter, keeping her 39 million little monsters anxiously waiting for a word from the pop star. A spokesperson for Gaga hasn’t been reached for comment on her ever-changing appearances.
