Hilary Duff Is Pregnant With First Baby By Husband Mike Comrie

Hilary Duff suddenly appears to be/ feels like someone a decade younger, right? She looks so young and she’s been on television for so long. It feels a little weird that she’s married and a little weirder still that she’s expecting. The actress, 23-years-old, has announced she’s pregnant with her first child after one year of marriage. On the world’s slowest-loading website, her official blog, she announced to fans this weekend that she was carrying a little Duffrie (in the same post she shared a bunch of unseen photos from the wedding day she shilled to a tabloid).
She’s probably in her first or early-second trimester, as she’s not really showing yet and she just has slightly larger boobs. She married Mike Comrie last August and the couple enjoyed a year of marriage before doing things the right way and getting knocked-up in wedlock.
“This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our one year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding!” she wrote on her official website Sunday. “I can’t believe it has already been a year. Time really flies when you’re having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that baby makes three! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”
Duff, 23, wed pro hockey player Comrie, 30, on August 14, 2010 in an intimate sunset ceremony. “We both love kids and we’re really excited,” Duff told Us Weekly Wednesday at the Kendra Scott jewelry event in L.A., just days before sharing her pregnancy news with the world. “It was a big deal for us because we had a year to be married.” – via Us Weekly.
Duff and Comrie will make great parents. They seem normal and not as attention-seeking as other celebrities (that said, they’d been mugging for paparazzi the last few days to make sure there were fresh, new photos of her and the non-bump for this announcement). Here’s betting they give the kid a normal name too… there have been a bunch of normal celebrity names recently with Jessica Alba calling her baby Haven Garner Warren and Tina Fey calling her daughter Penelope Athena Richmond.
