Holly Madison Postpones Wedding To Fiance Pasquale Rotella
August 14, 2013 by Lindsay Cronin
Holly Madison and her baby daddy Pasquale Rotella became engaged earlier this summer atop a ferris wheel in their hometown of Las Vegas. The pair had been dating since 2011 and on March 5 of this year, they welcomed their first child, daughter Rainbow Aurora. During Holly’s E! special which aired a few months ago, she announced that she and Pasquale were planning to wed on August 14, but last night, she confirmed that they have since changed their plans.
After a fan tweeted to Holly saying, “WEDDING TIME TOMORROW!!! ❤ Are you excited?!” Holly revealed that her wedding has officially been postponed. “We moved the date to next month but thank you,” she explained, later telling another fan that she and Pasquale will tie the knot on September 10.
While the reason behind the postponement hasn’t been revealed, many have speculated that it has something to do with Pasquale’s upcoming trial. “She’s acting normal and happy and like everything’s great, but it’s obvious there’s something wrong,” an insider told Radar Online. “She can’t hide that something’s off. She seems determined not to show the stress of Pasquale’s legal problems at all. It’s like she thinks if she ignores it, it’ll go away.”
Pasquale, a professional party promoter, is facing more than 13 years in prison if found guilty of the charges of bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy and conflict of interest which he received earlier this year in regards to some allegedly shady business dealings. Pasquale will appear in court to address the charges on September 19.
In happier news, Holly is reportedly set to return to the Vegas stage where she will produce and star in her own show. “She is so excited,” a source revealed to Us Weekly earlier this month. “It would be a live stage show she’d write and star in herself. She’s still in talks with producers about details, but the show is definitely in the works. Holly is thrilled!”
