Hollywood’s Latest Obsession: Ireland Baldwin

Ireland Basinger Baldwin is the 17-year-old daughter of model and actress Kim Basinger and actor Alec Baldwin. But lately, she’s been making a name for herself and climbing the ladder of must-see Hollywood teenagers. In recent years, Ireland was most famous for her father’s tantalizing voicemail that was leaked calling Ireland a “thoughtless little pig” in 2007 when she was 11.  Years later, Ireland holds a steady relationship with both her parents, living in Los Angeles with her mother, but visiting her father often in New York. This year, Ireland was signed by IMG models and has been featured in The New York Post and is rumored to have gigs in the works with W and Vanity Fair magazines. Ireland has also stated in the past she hopes to get into acting, particularly comedy.

The starlet is also known for her frequent posting on social media sites such as: Twitter, Instagram and Vine with cousins Hailey and Alaia, daughters of Stephen Baldwin. Ireland isn’t the only one with Hollywood connections. Cousin Hailey, a model for the clothing line, Brandy Melville, is friends with Kylie Jenner. Ireland’s boyfriend, paddleboarder Slater Trout, has also gained recognition due to the model’s recent brush of fame.

Ireland has plenty to look forward to aside from her modeling career, including a baby sister. Dad, Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, are expecting a baby daughter in the fall, making Ireland a half-sister to the baby girl. The future is bright for the up and coming Hollywood starlet. It is no question that we’ll see more of this 6’2″ model, and thanks to her parents fame, we can only expect that she’ll do great things in her career.
