Video: Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June Fixed Her Hair; Talks Fear of Mayonnaise

Promoting the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo ”Holladay Special” with a new teaser, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s mother June “Mama” Shannon can be seen with straight blonde hair in place of the unkempt salt and pepper of season one. Here’s a photo of June “Mama” Shannon’s hair before, left, and after, right.
And here’s the video. In the clip from TLC, the mother and her kids (all of whom have different fathers) address Mama’s fear of mayonnaise. She rationalises that she can eat potato salad and tuna salad, however: ”If I watch somebody make it, I can’t [eat] it… The reason why is because when I was growing up, the babysitter I had [would make] mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack… I can’t talk about it, this is making my flesh crawl!”
