How Far Along Is Kate Middleton? When Is Kate Middleton Due To Give Birth?

January 15, 2013 by Hollywoodite

The Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton is about three months pregnant.

She was previously diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum for which she sought treatment, although the extreme morning sickness can persist throughout one’s entire pregnancy. The condition led to speculation that Middleton is expecting twins since Hyperemesis gravidarum is more common in women expecting multiples.

However, the palace has released a very deliberately timed and worded statement today confirming her due date and that she’s only expecting one baby. Additionally, a source confirms to People.com that there’s only one child not multiples. Insiders also claim that the timing of today’s statement suggests the royals had their scans and the pregnancy is a healthy one.

The baby is due in July. Which proves correct tabloids reports of the same due date. If the baby actually arrives in July, he or she will have the same birth month (and perhaps the same birthday) as the late Diana, Princess of Wales, who was born on July 1.

The palace says in a statement: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July. The Duchess’s condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month.”
