ITW: Is Khloe Kardashian Going Ahead With “Secret Adoption Plans”?
September 18, 2013 by Hollywoodite
Khloe Kardashian addressed her fertility issues on the episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians where a doctor told her she wasn’t even ovulating (immediately after which Kim lied about having low fertility too to steal Khloe’s thunder and become sympathetic in her divorce from Kris Humphries).
Nearly four years after she married Lamar Odom, who has kids from a previous relationship, Khloe is still without the child her mother openly and relentlessly berated Khloe about (remember when Kris gave passive-aggressive interviews saying the only fulfilment in life is birthing a baby, knowing at least one of her kids was effectively sterile).
It’s months later and if you believe Kris Jenner’s own timeline, Khloe had been trying for years to have a child with a man she knew was a crack addict. Admittedly, Khloe suddenly stopped trying soon after she learned of Lamar’s problems and she asked people to stop talking about it. But there does seem to be some overlap post-2011, where she was giving interviews about wanting to have his baby… and now she says in 2011 Lamar was already deep into a crack addiction.
In any case, the tabloids are falling back on their “adoption” stories. Which is basically the Kardashian story we get when nothing more interesting has happened that day (moreover, it means the Miley breakup news happened after the tabloids “locked” their covers for the week). For what it’s worth, ITW says Khloe is planning to have kids with or without Lamar.
The cover says, “Khloe’s baby secret. With her marriage in crisis, Khloe has a bittersweet plan: She’s finally going to be a mom–with or without Lamar. The moment Lamar found out and went ballistic.”
Here’s a teaser from the story: “Though her marriage to Lamar Odom is over, Khloé Kardashian isn’t giving up on her dreams of starting a family. “She’s never ruled out adoption,” a Kardashian family friend says of Khloé, who was spotted at the office of an adoption lawyer in Woodland Hills, Calif., on Sept. 11. “She’s saying she’ll have a baby regardless of what’s happening in her marriage.”
