In Touch Weekly Claims Kate Middleton Is Pregnant: “First Bump Photos”

June 6, 2012 by Hollywoodite

This week’s cover of In Touch Weekly Magazine is shamelessly wide of the mark, with yet another headline purporting to be a British Royal pregnancy exclusive like the ones that covered Star, People Magazine, and others, through 2011 when it was claimed there would be royal twins (Star even specified, a boy and a girl, as recently as September).

This is more of the same and, no, she’s not actually pregnant. The gist of today’s misdirection appears to be the nonsensical premise that Kate Middleton is rushing to get pregnant SOON and, as such, she hopes to announce a pregnancy within three-months from now. “They can’t wait to have a baby,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “They were waiting for the Queen’s Jubilee to be over before trying for a baby. They didn’t want to overshadow such a big moment in the Queen’s life. But now they are more than ready and Kate could quite possibly be in the early stages of pregnancy right now!”

ITW goes a step further on its cover, claiming a fold of fabric is a pregnancy bulge. Although, it’s careful to conjecture that only “looks like” a baby bump. Along with bodily observations that sound pasted from a Jennifer Aniston pregnancy boilerplate. The cover says: “Will & Kate’s Secret Baby Joy! Royal World Exclusive! Kate’s first bump photos. Forget the Jubilee, Inside the real reason for celebration.”

Forget the Jubilee! The royals have a bigger reason to be celebrating!

The new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now, exclusively reveals the first photos of Kate Middleton in a rare unguarded moment, with what looked to be a noticeable baby bump!

“We thought at first it might be just the way her dress fell as she walked,” a witness, who caught Kate on May 31 hurrying into a local jeweler in London’s Chelsea neighborhood, tells In Touch. “But if you looked closely, it was a definite bump. It was prominent enough to cast a shadow below.”

Kate’s appearance may hold even more clues to the telltale body changes. “She certainly has a glow in her cheeks,” the witness adds. “Her face is more rounded, and so is her bottom.”

And like many pregnant women concerned with the chemicals in hair dye, Kate is letting her gray roots show, a major departure for the hairstyle icon.

The Palace has remained silent on the subject, but in a recent interview with Katie Couric, a surprisingly frank William raised eyebrows by admitting that he may defer his duties with the Royal Air Force because he’s “very keen to have a family.” – via In Touch Weekly Magazine.
