ITW: Kim Kardashian Is Basically A “Single Mother” Since Kanye Is Always Away Working

When Kourtney Kardashian was pregnant with her second child, baby Penelope, the tabloids ramped up their “slow news day stories” about how baby daddy Scott Disick loves the clubs, drugs, drink, and other women more than he loves his family. Basically saying Kourtney was a single mother, Scott was an absentee father and a glorified roomie/ sperm donor. Those stories lasted for months, then fizzled out when Kim Kardashian got pregnant with baby North. Then, someone did a Find+Replace All with Kourtney/Kim Scott/Kanye because it’s more of the same.
When Kim first got pregnant, Wendy Williams told her audience Kanye West would never deign to marry his baby mother (or “babee muvva”) and Kim would remain a single parent until the end of her days. Even all the fake engagement stories Ryan Seacrest and Kris Jenner admitted to starting a year ago came to nothing because Kanye isn’t that easy to bully and manipulate. In any case, it would be Kim’s THIRD marriage so it’s not like she takes vows that seriously anyway.
The tabloids are making this a thing this week, despite having more meaty stories at their disposal. In Touch Weekly is beating the “single mother” story to death again on its cover which says: “([Kanye] away from his baby for 32 days). ‘How did I end up a single mother?’ Dumped! An overwhelmed Kim falls apart after Kanye ditches her, leaving her all alone with the baby. Plus: Her body panic: ‘I can’t lost the weight!’”
Here’s a teaser from the story: After famously being absent for more than half of his girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy, Kanye West is back to his old ways: He has been away from Kim for at least 32 days since they welcomed Nori in June. “Kim’s really starting to worry that he’s going to keep disappearing and she’ll be stuck on her own, just like when she was pregnant,” says a friend of Kim’s. “It’s making her miserable — she feels trapped and lonely. She doesn’t want to do this alone.”
