ITW: Lamar Odom “Suspects The Kardashians Leaked His Drug Addiction to the Press”

Today in “YOU DON’T SAY?!?”, Lamar Odom is leaking stories of his own to counter the ones being leaked by the Kardashians. Kris Jenner in particular, since Kris and Kim Kardashian had no problems scripting and re-shooting scenes for Kourtney & Kim Take New York to defame Kris Humphries when he dared step out of line too.
The fans’ response to the glut of stories about Lamar Odom’s undercover crack cocaine addiction (or cocaine/Oxy/Ambien, depending on whom you believe) on TMZ was “Yeah, Kris Jenner is leaking these out of spite”. So it’s no surprise to be reading this in In Touch, saying the family has been releasing information about Lamar because 1) he refused to get help 2) an addict in the family is bad for business in general 3) it makes Khloe sympathetic in whatever PR move the family does next.
Since being arrested on DUI charges — and on the heels of allegations he’s been secretly battling an addiction to crack cocaine — Lamar Odom’s marriage to Khloé Kardashian and his NBA career could be in jeopardy and insiders close to Lamar tell the new In Touch the basketball player thinks the Kardashians are behind it all.
“He blames Khloé’s family for all the recent public drama,” the insider tells In Touch, on stands now. “He believes Kris Jenner and the Kardashians planted all the bad stories about him to make him look like a monster.”
And according to a friend close to the family, he is convinced that his own private battle with addiction only became public last month after Kris leaked it to TMZ. “Khloé has Kris in her ear constantly telling her that she shouldn’t put up with Lamar, but Kris is purely worried about the brand and the family’s reality show,” says the friend. – via In Touch Weekly (story has since been deleted).
