Teen Threatens To Shoot Sister If J. Cole Doesn’t Retweet Him

Another day, another story about someone doing something irresponsible for attention.
This time, a teenage boy threatened to murder his own sister unless a musician re-tweeted him (because force and extortion for meaningless affirmation is somehow the best way to go about that).
“Retweet me and I’ll buy [your record] Born Sinner,” tweeted That Aint My Kid @_TzC_ w who was apparently suspended from Twitter, albeit temporarily, for the tweet. “Don’t retweet me and I’ll kill my lil sister.” The photo shows the boy pointing what appears to be a real gun at the girl’s face; incidentally, it’s considered Gun 101 to NEVER do that because you’re ALWAYS supposed to assume the gun is loaded/ may accidentally discharge.
Cole re-tweeted (basically rewarding the bad behaviour), adding “wildest s**t I ever seen on twitter.” Then the fan started bragging about how threatening someone and extorting someone else was great… because it worked.
The fan eventually started to backpedal and call it a “joke” saying his mother was watching the gun incident but was displeased. “My mom is so mad at me…. I gotta go into hiding for a lil while,” he wrote.
Later, the fan also claimed the police came but didn’t pursue it because the handgun fired BBs. “If it was real I’d be in jail,” he wrote. He eventually backed down after being hounded on Twitter for hours, by people with more common sense, and (somewhat sarcastically wrote “Being an Internet Thug backfired on me. I learned my damn lesson… I hope White Twitter still accepts me after all this.”
