Jenelle Evans Expecting Another Baby: Did She Get Pregnant Again For The Money & Attention?

Though good train wreck television is worth its weight in gold, sometimes we do have to take a moment to ask ourselves if making stars out of immature people for the wrong reason is really such a good idea. Case in point: just days after writing about how we should all cut Jenelle Evans some slack, she announces that she’s pregnant with baby #2.

But why is someone who admits she isn’t ready to raise baby #1 having another? It might be two crazy newlyweds in love, or it might be something more sinister. Last month, Vicki Delp, mom of Jenelle’s ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp, pointed the finger at MTV. Vicki told followers on Twitter that Jenelle was promised $20,000 by MTV for having another baby. She added that Jenelle was trying to get pregnant by Kieffer when their relationship ended. According to Vicki, Jenelle even sent MTV a fake positive pregnancy test and only backed down when they demanded more concrete proof.

If it’s true that MTV is willing to pay Jenelle for having another baby, where will it stop? If her husband Courtland Rogers is game, they can keep popping little cash bundles out every year. They’re sure to get a spin-off of their own and be on our TV screens for years to come. Meanwhile, Jenelle has no stable environment in which to raise her children, who are already genetically pre-disposed to being bipolar.

While some of the other teen moms, like Kailyn, have been shown discussing birth control options, others, like Leah, are expecting more children. Whether or not MTV has made them the same offer of cash for more babies, and more years on TV, we can’t really know. But it doesn’t seem all that far fetched.
