Jennifer Aniston & Chastity/ Chaz Bono Friends In High School – Photo

Jennifer Aniston was good friends with Chaz Bono, formerly Chastity Bono, during their high school years in the 1980s. Aniston elaborates a little upon this photo, seeming to trip over references to her former friend’s sex.

Long before she was on Friends, Jennifer Aniston had a friend in Chaz Bono. Known then as Chastity (Bono underwent female-to-male gender transition in 2009), the two classmates posed for a locker room photo at New York’s High School of Performing Arts in 1987.

“Every day a group of us would go to Chaz’s house after school,” Aniston, 42, recalled during an interview with Allure. “I haven’t spoken to him in awhile.” When asked if Bono’s sex reassignment is confusing, Aniston responded, “Well, obviously, yeah. I mean, even for his… her… mother, I think. His mother. But, you know, good for her.” – via Us Weekly.
