Jennifer Aniston Covers InStyle: There’s No Love-Triangle or Feud

February 8, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Jennifer Aniston covers InStyle March 2012 on the promotional trail for Wanderlust, even though tabloids prematurely declared that bust because she was supposedly six-months pregnant with twins. She’s not pregnant, despite the slightly-alarming claims of a neighbour who supposedly acquired that information watching Aniston change in front of a window.

Her interview is… interesting. She brings up the her/ Brad Pitt/ Angelina Jolie tabloid-concocted love-triangle, although she could have given any other answer to the open question. All three bring it up, at times, and it only adds legitimacy to the lies. Only she can get away with it, however.

The “triangle” nearly tanked Brad Pitt’s promotional trail for Moneyball, when he threw his marriage to Aniston under the bus for publicity. Aniston stans frothed at the mouth and there was a mini-backlash. Whereas, even though Aniston “stole” her boyfriend from a live-in girlfriend of 14-years, she mostly gets away with it. In fact, Vanity Fair were the only ones to have called her on it.

In the same interview, Aniston denies dressing like Justin Theroux because she’s wearing old clothes while aping him although it’s clear to everyone that’s a lie.

On the tabloid rumours and misconceptions: “Which one? There are so many. I would say the triangle with my ex-husband and that there’s a feud there. It’s constant. It’s a story headline that won’t go away, but it’s a money thing… [people make money off] a story that has nothing to do with reality.”

On her age: “You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think, Aren’t we kind of the same age? I don’t feel my age. I feel young every day.”

On finding the right partner: “Having experienced everything you don’t want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want. As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won’t settle for.”

On dressing like her boyfriend because she’s really 12-years-old: “First of all, he has great style; it’s very specific, and it has been his style forever. Has it influenced mine? No, but I know people say it has. ‘Oh, look, you’re dressing alike.’ And I think, no I’m not. I’ve had this jacket for three years!”

On feeling sexy: “I feel sexy in my jeans and my boyfriend’s T-shirt.”

On what career she’d pick if she had to change: “Directing. I was very proud of producing and directing for the beautiful project ‘Five.’ Or I’d love to be a dermatologist. I’d be so obsessive about it. I’m fascinated by skin, products, and lasers. I go on the Internet and read all about it. I call it ‘laser pr0n.’”

On her cooking skills: “I’d love to say I’m an accomplished cook, but I don’t have any signature dishes. I’m good at breakfast; I make great eggs. My father gave me a little recipe. It’s all in the seasoning. But it’s a Greek secret. I won’t give it away.” – via InStyle Magazine.
