Jennifer Lawrence’s Reaction To Being Starstruck By Jack Nicholson At The 2013 Oscars

Jennifer Lawrence had an eventful night at the 2013 Oscars. That included winning Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook alongside co-star Bradley Cooper who lost Best Actor to Daniel Day-Lewis. And it included Lawrence tripping over her Dior gown on the way to accept her award at which time Cooper, just out of shot, and Hugh Jackman both ran to her aid.
At the end of the night, Lawrence did a shot and whimsically flipped off the press room that asked asinine questions like how come she fell. Lawrence sarcastically interjected “Was that on purpose? Absolutely. What do you mean, ‘What happened?’ Look at my dress.” She fielded a question about peaking too soon at age 22 (this wasn’t her first Oscar nomination). And to the even dumber question about her routine for getting ready, she responded “I don’t know, I just woke up and tried on the dress and it fit, thank god. And then, um, I took a shower? That’s what I did.” (Earlier, asked by AP Live about her dress, she replied “Well, this is the top and this is the bottom.”)
Then she took actual questions in a sit-down with ABC News.
The Q&A was interrupted by Jack Nicholson whom she called “rude.” Following an exchange in which 75-year-old Nicholson praised her win and movie, Lawrence was clearly starstruck while making this face…
