What? Jennifer Lawrence Wants To Be On The Bachelor!

March 19, 2013 by Hollywoodite

The Bachelor just ended with Sean Lowe proposing, confirming he’s the special guest on Dancing with the Stars, and one of the rejected contestants becoming the next Bachelorette. According to Lowe, he’s not only working but the born-again-virgin is not living with his fiancee, so they won’t be tempted.

In any case, the drama’s mostly piped down… until next season.

Except, Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly hoping to start some drama of her own if this (admittedly random) item is to be believed. According to a new report, the Oscar-winning actress approached the show’s host gushing about it and supposedly asked her handlers to get her on the show.

Hollywood’s current “It girl” is a big reality TV fan, and she’s so enamored of “The Bachelor” that she approached the show’s host Chris Harrison at the Oscars and gushed about it. What’s more, she once pleaded with her handlers to try to get her onto the popular ABC dating competition.

“Her agent and publicist were aghast,” said a source. “They told her, ‘You don’t want to do this!’ “She said, ‘Yes, I do.’ They had to talk her out of it.”

The “Silver Linings Playbook” star has confessed that she’s crazy about reality television.

Kentucky-born and raised Jennifer revealed to a reporter that her L.A. apartment was “like a reality TV show cave,” where she spends her downtime from film roles by catching up on the latest series.

“I just learned how to work TiVo,” she said, adding: “That changed my life.”

And she’s not kidding! While out with friends, she admits that she often finds herself preoccupied with what she’s missing on TV.

She said: “When I’m out, I think about my couch…like, ‘It would be awesome to be on it right now. I bet there’s an episode of ‘Dance Moms’ on. Am I missing a new episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’? I’m just stressed by the idea of missing them.” – via National Enquirer.
