Vanity Fair September 2011 Cover Goes To Jennifer Lopez, Not Lindsay Lohan

It had been reported by Page Six that Lindsay Lohan scored another Vanity Fair cover and interview for which they’d have to hide an ankle monitor and talk about her crack-shenanigans. Page Six speculated, quite convincingly, that Lohan had been interviewed and the photos taken inside Lohan’s home when she was on house arrest.

Soon after that story, Lohan’s cover and interview were in Vanity Fair Italy August. Hmm… P6 also said a Kate Moss wedding special by Mario Testino would cover American Vogue in September, but she covered Vogue UK August. Maybe P6 were “right,” but their dates/ countries were all screwed up? Anyway, Lohan’s NOT on the cover of Vanity Fair for September, Jennifer Lopez and her divorce-shenanigans will be.

This will be Lopez’s first interview since she announce her divorce. The divorce was announced late on a Friday, in hopes of burying the news. And there’s been much mud-slinging from an Us Weekly angry because People got the exclusive statement after Marc Anthony found out about an Us deal with Lopez and so he went to People. Lopez will probably be churning out trite pre-approved quotes about what she’s learned from her third marriage. And what she’s going to do better in her fourth of fifth. There’ll be little revelation in this new interview.
