Casper Smart “Moved Into Jennifer Lopez’s Life A Little Too Easily”

People Magazine pulled an unusual move, this weekend, by claiming that Jennifer Lopez is growing cold toward Casper Smart. Specifically, that she would deign to keep her boyfriend around until she found a replacement.
This is People though, not Star, not Life & Style. This is the outlet to whom Marc Anthony released his divorce statement to spite Lopez who had worked out an exclusive with Us Weekly Magazine. This is People, who write nothing without running it by publicists first because negative stories would be bad for future business. People don’t tend to lead with stories about breakups, moreover, that’s Us Weekly’s forte. But someone in Lopez’s camp leaked this information about the relationship. And someone approved this appearing on People.com (that’s conjecture, but it’s pretty safe conjecture).
A source, maybe her manager or maybe her family, tells the magazine: “[Jennifer] is getting frustrated with him and she’s increasingly short-tempered when she’s around him… [Casper] moved into her life, and a little too easily, too. I think her family is watching him closely. Jennifer is the kind of girl who doesn’t like to be alone. Until she finds a replacement, I think, he’s around.”
RadarOnline.com offered specifics the next day: “[Jennifer] has been feeling more like Casper’s babysitter than girlfriend. Casper likes to hang out and party with the other dancers and that just isn’t Jen’s scene. She is all business and is the utmost professional. Jen is absolutely going to break up with him, they just don’t have a long term future together.”
That sounds about right. She slums because she’s lonely. She slums because she needs the adulation. She slums because she can. But she gets bored easily. So she bridges the gap with another man. Then, and only then, she leaves. It’s just amazing she tired of this one before she married him.
E! News expounds with details of the damage caused by this week’s tabloids: “They have not split yet, but it’s fair to say they are cooling off a bit. The pictures have created a distance between them. Even if Casper is telling the truth, and he didn’t mean to walk into the doorway [to the sex parlour], it just proves how young and immature he is. He should have been more careful. He knows he is often being followed by paparazzi.”
