Jersey Shore Season 5 Preview: Fake Drama With Snooki & The Situation

Jersey Shore is back for season five in January, after which, hopefully, they’ll be replaced with a less-stale cast.

Season four ended with fake fights at home, fake bar fights staged with the help of producers in cordoned off areas of a club, and fake tension. The show’s either literally scripted or heavily-edited at this point. For example, editing The Situation’s head injury to look like he was assaulted by another cast member. It’s just entertainment. And, for the most part, even fans seem to know it’s fake.

Well, the new season trailer has been released and it’s more of the same.

The teaser mostly focuses on the producer-approved “drama” between Snooki and The Situation, since Snooki’s sleeping around and being easy, even when in a relationship, is somehow his fault (admittedly, he’s being a jerk about the BJ incident).
