Jersey Shore Season 6: “Shall We Turn The Smush Room Into A Nursery?”

Despite rumblings that Jersey Shore was long-dead, MTV has confirmed that season six will go ahead relatively unmolested from its current format.
In a surprise announcement, released only days after the likes of Fox News speculated that the show was dead-in-the-water after one of the leads, Snooki, fell pregnant, MTV issued a statement green-lighting the new season which is scheduled to start filming in early Summer concluding weeks before Snooki gives birth.
Although, MTV only alludes to her presence and doesn’t explicitly say whether she’s acquiesced to living in the house while pregnant: “MTV gets ready for fist pumps and baby bumps, with the announcement of a sixth season of Jersey Shore. Production is set to begin Summer 2012 in Seaside Heights, NJ. America’s favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory…as their lives outside the Shore take off in exciting new directions. While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same.”
Grosser/ stupider still, following a similar remark made by Vinny Guadagnino last week, @MTV on Twitter asked: “You think we’ll have to turn the smush room into a nursery?”
The network seems to have overlooked Snooki’s comments in Us Weekly saying it’d be pathetic and irresponsible to party or even visit the house at length while pregnant: “If anything, I’ll visit the shore [but] I’m not living in that house being pregnant. I don’t want to be one of those moms who’s pregnant in a club. It’s disgusting.”
Adds an Us Weekly source: “She’s not going to be staying in the house. No way.”
In related news, even though we covered this already, HollywoodLife.com has a copy pasta source report today about JWoww being “jealos” of Snooki stealing the spotlight. Their source claims JWoww is “completely jealous.” Adding: “JWoww thinks Snooki’s pregnancy and engagement is stealing the spotlight. She’s pissed… Snooki’s pregnancy caught her completely off guard. Jenni really thought she’d be the first one in the house to get engaged [And she’d] never turn down a proposal [from boyfriend Roger Matthews].”
