Jessica Alba Gave Birth To Second Daughter, Haven Garner Warren

Jessica Alba gave birth this weekend because this is the month for baby news. All the people who got knocked-up at the same time back in December are giving birth now. And everyone who’s left is getting pregnant right now.

Because reps need to be driven out of business to teach them some lesson we won’t understand, Alba made her birth announcement on Facebook. As did the Beckhams. Because it’s a tidier way of organising all the liking and the praising from strangers that’s going to follow. Confirming the birth less than 48 hours after it happened, Alba told fans the baby name and weight too.

Hi Everyone, Hope you’re enjoying the weekend. Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren. She was born on Saturday, weighed 7lbs, and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy! Big Sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family.

Do you like the name, Haven Garner Warren?

The first part does feel like it should be “Heaven.” That would sound better alongside Honor too. Haven and Honor. Um, okay. Sure. The names are a little lofty. But at least they’re passably-normal names for which the kids won’t be bullied. Who knows about the “Garner” thing. People have been asking whether it’s reference to Jennifer Garner. This is going to end up as ridiculous as the Beckham thing, where they spent every day, one week, explaining the name over and over because people still didn’t get it.
