Report: Jessica Biel Rejected Justin Timberlake’s Engagement Ring

This week, Us Weekly hands over the pressed FanFic duties to National Enquirer since the former’s creative fiction department is all tapped out ripping-ff other people’s exclusives.
At this point, there’s the vague assumption that Jessica Biel is in fact engaged.
Reports started over Christmas on Twitter then on LaineyGossip.com. Three-weeks later, Us Weekly threw in a few loose source accounts and claimed the exclusive despite using old information and having no confirmation from a rep or either family. Since then, Justin Timberlake’s grandmother has spoken exclusively to RadarOnline.com in the only real confirmation anyone’s managed to get.
So, finally, there’s familial confirmation.
Biel has since been photographed around Los Angeles and on the red carpet without an engagement ring. So the tabloids are scrambling to find a reason why. National Enquirer is reaching, while explaining away the absence of a ring.
Jessica Biel turned up her nose at [fiance] Justin Timberlake’s crummy diamond engagement ring, sources say.
The 29-year-old stunner, who hit the Golden Globes red carpet solo and with a [bare] ring finger, has ordered Justin, 30, to splurge on a new sparkler, which has the panicky [Timberlake] enlisting his mom’s help.
“When Justin proposed to Jessica, she was disappointed with his choice of ring,” said a source. “Jessica isn’t a fancy girl, but she wanted something stunning; a bigger diamond that would impress her friends. Instead, Justin went more minimal, thinking she’d prefer something less flashy.”
“Jessica told Justin that although she was moved by his proposal, she wanted a ring with more bling,” maintained the source. “He was very understanding,and told her that she deserves to have what she wants. There they go, with the whole “this circus only serves to stop Jessica’s nagging.” Remember, that was in Us Weekly a few weeks back too. And National Enquirer contradicts itself by saying Biel’s down-to-earth… yet wants a giant ring. Which makes no sense. Even with their convoluted reasoning. The tabloid is just joining in this odd smear campaign to make Biel look like another harridan bullying some poor guy into marriage.
