Photos From Jessica Simpson’s Baby Shower: Who Attended?

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson’s baby shower took place on Sunday in Los Angeles attended by over 50 friends and family.

There were a few unexpected famous faces in attendance as well as notable absences.

Ashlee Simpson attended with son Bronx Wentz and they were met at the location by her ex-husband, Pete Wentz, with whom the 27-year-old had notably frosty body-language (he arrived with girlfriend Meagan Camper who sat, off-screen, in that black Mercedes).

Also at the shower were Ellen Pompeo and Jessica Alba, who brought their kids. Missing was the 31-year-old’s Fashion Star co-judge Nicole Richie who most people assumed would attend but who didn’t show (which doesn’t bode well for rumours of an on-set feud).

An eyewitness tells People Magazine of the shower: “Jessica looked pretty and very happy.”

Another source tells Us Weekly: “It was a kid-friendly shower with many of her friends bringing babies. Jessica [Alba] brought her baby Haven, 7 months, and Ashlee brought Bronx, 3.”

Pink and yellow was the theme at the balloon-strewn venue. The Us Weekly source continues: “She seemed completely ecstatic [with the decorations]. She received tons of gifts mostly wrapped in pink gift wrap and boxes. There were several books, stuffed toys and clothes among other items.”

Simpson looked bigger and cuter than ever, although she’s still not due until late April; perhaps April 20 as speculated by the tabloids.
