Us Weekly: Jessica Simpson Had C-Section, “Excited” To Lose Baby Weight

May 17, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Us Weekly Magazine claims Jessica Simpson had a cesarean section.

Burying the lede, the tabloid reports Simpson is “excited” and “determined” to lose what she said was a “60 pound” weight gain by her seventh/ eight month. Although In Touch Weekly Magazine said it was closer to “80 pounds” by the time Simpson gave birth. And one would lean towards ITW’s estimate, since it’s been pretty spot on with its Simpson exclusives thus far. Unlike the mostly generic and unconfirmed information from Us Weekly. ITW correctly identified Simpson’s chosen baby name and it correctly stated back in April that Simpson’s birthing plan included a C-section.

A month later, Us Weekly is saying the same. Specifically, Simpson will begin her weight loss as soon as she’s healed from the c-section. Which would (probably) mark the beginning of the $3 million to $4 million Weight Watchers deal that Us says is dependent on losing the weight within a certain amount of time. A source claims:  ”As soon as Jessica heals from the C-section, she is extremely determined to get back in the gym and work out. She wants to show the world and is excited to do it. She’ll have to meet the weight-loss goals for the deal to go through. She hasn’t chosen a trainer yet. In fact, she hasn’t even thought about working out for a year. But if she wants this, she’ll need to work out a good five times a week.”

Ahead of the multi-million weight loss reveal, you’ll see Simpson on the cover of People Magazine for which she’ll be paid $800,000.
