Us Weekly: Jessica Simpson At Home With Baby Girl Maxwell Drew Johnson

May 9, 2012 by Hollywoodite

Us Weekly is pulling the same tactic as People Magazine did this week. In the absence of any kind of exclusive, here’s another really, really old photo along with generic source quotes the tabloid already provided in the weeks leading up to Jessica Simpson’s delivery.

This cover is pretty much filler. Which means no tabloid, so far, has an actual exclusive on the new mother and baby Maxwell Drew Johnson. The headline reads: “At Home With Baby! Inside Jessica’s first days as a new mom; from Maxwell’s extravagant nursery to Eric’s fear of diaper duty. Her $4 million deal to lose the baby weight.”

Yes, Simpson was mostly at home for several weeks prior to delivery; long enough that people started to whisper. Specifically, opined TMZ TV, Simpson delivered earlier than she let on but was overshadowed by the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie engagement then Kimye then Simpson missed the deadline for last week’s covers. Except, Simpson and her family were seen entering Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles shortly after which she gave birth May 1 (it’s not known whether naturally or by rumoured C-section). And, yes, Simpson has been at home since the birth of her one-week old baby girl.

No, Us Weekly has no clue what the nursery’s like since it didn’t have access; that’ll be wild conjecture.

And lastly, yes, Simpson is probably going to lose the baby weight through the Weight Watchers deal rumoured by Us Weekly November last year.

Us Weekly has nothing new to share. This cover report appears to be a copy pasta of information from hospital sources and the baby stalking you read about already last week from the same magazine. There’s nothing new here, even from the online edition. The only footnote is Simpson’s tweet a few hours ago: “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I’ve ever experienced.”
