Jessica Simpson: “When My Water Breaks, It Will Be Like A Fire Hydrant”

Jessica Simpson is still on the promotional trail as the second episode of Fashion Star approaches (an example of product placement and fog-machines trumping entertainment for a show where the clothes are for sale as the credits roll but good luck getting the store to deliver on time).

Simpson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! last night to over-share about her abundance of amniotic fluid and how it’s expected to explode everywhere when she delivers which, again, she’s not due to do for over a month. Admitting that she’s tired of being pregnant at this point, Simpson told Kimmel: “I feel I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoohah! Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant! I’m ready to push!”

Asked about having her baby with her fiance, previously having been adamant about no sex before marriage, she continued: “[Eric] feels like my husband already, we are just doing it a little bit backwards.”

Of her baby shower, Simpson told Kimmel: “It was a Charlotte’s Web thing. We had a whole fair. We had fried Oreos!”

A source told Us Weekly of the shower: “Jessica received tons of gifts mostly wrapped in pink gift wrap and boxes. There were several books, stuffed toys and clothes among other items.”

In another interview with People Magazine, Simpson said she’s over it and we need to pray for her pushing out that 10-pounds baby: “At this point, I’m really ready. I’m not sleeping very well; she moves all the time. I had a great pregnancy, but I’m ready for it to be over! It’s so much baby and so much amniotic fluid, it’s crazy. If we have a 10 pounder, pray for me! Right now, I can’t wait to just hold her in my arms.”
