What Does Jill Zarin Think About Former RHONY Co-Star Bethenny Frankel’s Divorce?

Jill Zarin, left, started out the year by calling Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian poor role models for young girls because they got knocked up, more than once in the case of the latter who admitted drunkenly forgetting her birth control, outside of wedlock. Those comments were met with a mix of consternation and incredulity from Zarin’s own fans.

And now Zarin is speaking out about her former Real Housewives of New York City co-star Bethenny Frankel, right, who’s at the beginning of what looks to be a protracted and nasty divorce from estranged husband Jason Hoppy.

Surprisingly, rather than condemning Frankel for the bitter divorce that involves a toddler, since Zarin seems to have fixed ideas about how kids should be raised within wedlock, she’s supportive.

“I just want her to be happy and her daughter to be happy,” [Zarin] told Life & Style of Bethenny, who recently filed for divorce from her husband Jason Hoppy. “But you know, life is not always what you plan it. I was divorced once. I don’t wish that anybody.”

Since Bethenny announced their split in December, the Skinnygirl founder has been focusing all her energy on 2-year-old daughter, Bryn, and, as Life & Style’s reported, her new show!

“She’s diving headfirst into working on her new talk show,” an insider tells Life & Style. “It’s obvious it’s an escape for her.”

And having starred alongside Bethenny for four seasons of the Bravo reality show, Jill’s sure sure Bethenny will persevere.

“Bethenny’s very strong and very focused and very committed to making her daughter happy and doing whatever that takes,” Jill says. “If she’s gonna get divorced, let it be when her child’s really young and doesn’t really remember. I know that she’ll do what’s in the best interest of her daughter. A happy mother is a happy life.” – via Life & Style Magazine.
