Jill Zarin Claims Ramona Singer’s Husband Mario Hit On Her
Jill Zarin has just dropped a serious bomb. Weeks after rumors hit the web that her former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Ramona Singer’s husband Mario had been cheating on her with a much younger socialite in The Hamptons, Jill claims that she was once the target of Mario’s wandering eye.
“When we were taping the show, Mario hit on me,” Jill tells In Touch. “It made me uncomfortable to the point where I had to tell [my husband] Bobby to tell Mario to leave me alone. He was always looking around. People would talk about it, but nobody would ever say anything because they didn’t want to hurt Ramona. They felt bad for her.”
Since leaving the show during season 4, Jill and Ramona’s relationship has been rocky — to say the least. Still, Jill says she supports Ramona and hopes she will do what is best for her in her current situation.
“Ramona and I lived through an incredible experience together, so of course I will support her any way I can,” Jill claims. “Mario flirted with me as I saw him flirt with many other girls. The best thing for her to do is to stand tall and move on.”
This isn’t the first time Jill has taken on Mario in the press. Back in 2011, Jill claimed Mario got physical with her. ”He definitely scared me,” she told E! News at the time. ”He was belligerently screaming at me in front of friends. I was shocked. He shoved me. Darren [her assistant/rep] was my witness and he had to get in the middle and tell him to get off of me.”
In response to Jill’s report of violence, Ramona claimed Jill liked to “make up stories.”
