Joe Gorga And His Father Are No Longer Speaking
Joe Gorga and his family have been through hell and back on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and while his sister Teresa Giudice and wife Melissa have spoken out since filming wrapped, claiming to have made progress towards a healthy relationship, there is still drama lingering within the family.
According to a new report, Joe and his father Giacinto, who have had a strained relationship for the last couple of years, are no longer on speaking terms.
“Joe has not spoken to his father and his father wants nothing to do with him,” a source close to Joe tells AllAboutTRH. “Joe’s father is very ashamed of the fact that Joe Gorga could trash his sister on TV for everyone to see.”
“Joe Gorga’s father Giacinto, is especially embarrassed that his family and friends witness what his son does to his daughter on TV and has to hear people talk about their family drama,” the source continues. “Joe Gorga is saddened that his father does not want to speak to him but blames Teresa. Joe thinks Teresa tells their parents not to speak to Joe.”
Earlier this year, Giacinto’s health began to worsen and although some thought the ordeal could bring the family closer, it only drove them further apart. On an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa accused Joe’s wife of not going to visit Giacinto in the hospital, which she denied. The issue quickly snowballed leading Teresa to make some pretty bold accusations against her brother.
She told the cameras, “My dad raised us with a lot of respect. I would never raise my voice at my father, but I’ve seen my brother do that with my father and with me.”
