Jon Bon Jovi Called Justin Bieber An “A**hole” for Turning Up Late To Shows

May 21, 2013 by Hollywoodite

This weekend, Justin Bieber was booed by his peers and fans as he collected the token Milestone Award. Bieber assuaged this a little by thanking Jesus Christ for his win. But he was definitely booed. For what, specifically, is unclear. It could have been any number of the bratty or dangerous things he’s been doing lately. Like hanging out with friends to whom he lends cars that get in crashes, he allegedly does drugs and drinks with these friends, he’s allegedly been violent to a neighbour and to paparazzi and most recently he’s been arriving late to his own shows. The last part got him booed during one of his own concerts a few weeks back.

Asked by the London Evening Standard about Bieber’s turning up late, singer Jon Bon Jovi said Bieber’s basically buying into his own hype and is trying to be cool… but is coming off looking like an a**hole.

In March, the 19-year-old teen heartthrob was met with a chorus of boos after he turned up nearly two hours late for his London O2 Arena concert.

“Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new,” Bon Jovi told the London Evening Standard.

“They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives — or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives,” the frontman said.

“Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back,” Bon Jovi continued. “Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an a–hole. Go to [bleepin’] work!” – via Page Six.
