Mama June Responds To Kris Jenner: “There Is People Who Love Us And People Who Hate Us”
Last week, Kris Jenner reportedly criticised Honey Boo Boo’s family for allowing the child to star in the eponymous Toddlers & Tiaras spin-off. Because Jenner is the only person who’s allowed to exploit her offspring.
A source claimed: “To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement. She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family, and [she] can’t understand why America is so fascinated by them. The show has become bigger than Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success. Kris especially has a strong dislike for June, claiming the beauty pageant world is vile and that June is a bad mom for exploiting Alana in that way. Kris think it’s all a ploy to make money, and says she sees through it and thinks it is absolutely disgusting. Although it’s like pot calling the kettle black, you could say that Kris does exactly the same with her family.”
To which June “Mama” Shannon and seven-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson responded on Anderson Cooper’s show, Anderson Live.
Mama said: “Um, yeah, I had heard in the media that her mom is like not liking the show but I know on one of the shows that Kim Kardashian quoted a line and said Honey Boo Boo Child said it. Oh well, you know it’s just like any kind of critic. You can’t make everybody happy all the time. In life there is going to be criticism… There is people who love us and people who hate us. We appreciate the people who support us and all through this and the people who hate us, it’s a part of life everyday. We are real, we are not scripted. We are who we are, we are loving and I love being around my family so that’s all that matters.”
