Justin Bieber’s Party Waiver is Serious Business… $5 Million Dollars Serious

For anyone lucky enough to actually be invited to a party at Justin Bieber’s Calabasas home–congratulations! However, do not even think about talking, tweeting, videoing, photographing or blogging about what went down to your friends or it will cost you $5 million.
Before party guests step foot inside of the 20-year-old’s party digs, every guest MUST sign a liability waiver and release form otherwise known in the world of celebrity as a “Non-Disclosure Agreement.”
The Bieb’s NDA found its way to the internet and he is not playing around. “You understand that participation in the Activities is potentially hazardous and you should not participate unless you are medically able and properly trained…the activities carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated completely, ranging from minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death.”
“Under no circumstances will you divulge the details of you entering and being on the Property or engaging in the Activities by any mans or through any media whatsoever, including without limitation, through photographs, video, blogging, texting, “Tweeting” or posting any such information on any social media site.”
Oh, and in case you thought you might make a few bucks and sell you story to a magazine, think again. The waiver states that you may not without the “Released parties’ prior written consent…publish directly or indirectly…any Confidential information.”
We all know by now that Bieber and his friends, Lil Za and Lil Twist throw some pretty smoking (pun intended) parties. Forms like this come a dime a dozen when it comes to celebrities and as famous as Bieber, so it only seems right that he covers all bases. Not only does the form require your signature but your social security number as well–WHAT?!
What do you think about Bieber’s NDA–are the terms too severe and more importantly is it REALLY worth suing someone for $5 WHOLE million dollars?
