Justin Timberlake to Release a Second Album in 2013!
March 19, 2013 by Hollywood EM
Despite the fact that Justin Timberlake’s new album is being released today, it turns out that it’s only one half of the album The 20/20 Experience.
Rumors started circulating that there would indeed be a volume two of the album when drummer QuestLove, from rap group The Roots, spilled the beans on his message board that Timbelake had divided the album in half.
QuestLove, who also leads the band while on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, took to the website okayplayer.com to state: ”Spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…..10 songs later= 20 vision).”
He also added that he’s already heard some of the tracks while at SXSW in Austin where Timberlake performed, ”He played me songs out of order and off both records so i don’t know what made the final cut.”
With the rumor spreading incredibly fast, Timberlake has decided to confirm the rumor himself in an interview with Ryan Seacrest at the release party of The 20/20 Experience.
Timberlake shouted to the crowd that “I need to clear up a rumor” stating that The 20/20 Experience was only “the first half of the album.” and that “Those rumors are true.”
The exact release date of volume two wasn’t confirmed, but it looks like Timberlake will be focusing on promoting volume one since Billboard projects that volume one will sell half a million copies in its first week.
Early reviews of the album have been mixed so, with the news of this next release, perhaps fans can be hopeful that the best is yet to come.
