Justin Timberlake Covers Esquire Magazine October 2011… On Fire

September 16, 2011 by Hollywoodite

Justin Timberlake covers Esquire October 2011 promoting his new movie, In Time. Esquire claims on their website there were no CGI effects used in this photo shoot… because they were really trying to kill it with fire, “This photo is real. No special effects. No expensive clothing or celebrities were harmed.”

The shoot’s pretty remarkable, unlike its subject. It’s such a shame this shoot was wasted on Timberlake. It would have been much better for Tom Cruise maybe as he promoted Ghost Protocol or something. It’s just overwhelming for someone so lackluster. Timberlake’s not alpha or macho enough to pull this off. It’s in his eyes. You can see he doesn’t believe it either. And he’s got the body language of a sullen teenager bored by the shoot in some of the photos.
