Us Weekly: Justin Timberlake Worried Marriage Is A “Career Killer”

Us Weekly takes back the Fan Fic reigns this week in a weird, negative story about Justin Timberlake being a calculating, game-playing, cheating jerk who only pity proposed to Jessica Biel and who has been trying to handle his reduced cheating pool ever since.
The tabloid already reported on the engagement and, along with People Magazine this weekend, reported that Timberlake and Biel attended the Saturday Night Live after-party following his cameo. Reportedly, Biel wore her supposed, fabled engagement ring Saturday evening; the ring all the tabloids have been working HARD to explain away the lack of (it was too small, and now Timberlake is insecure about her wearing it).
Us Weekly elaborates in what reads like another contrived smear: Timberlake is an insecure douche, who doesn’t want the women with whom he supposedly cheats to be put off by his marital status. Like it’ll take him off the cheating market. Morever, he’s supposedly worried that not being a bachelor may kill his image/ career.
Biel doesn’t come off great either, following the story in Star that she wants a $500,000 fidelity clause written into a prenup in the event Timberlake cheats during marriage. And now she’s being bullied into not wearing a ring so her fiance can work his single image a little longer (which jives with Us Weekly’s previous report that Timberlake intended to drag out the engagement as long as possible).
Jessica Biel finally revealed her [engagement ring] during an SNL after party at NYC’s Ristorante Asellina on Feb. 18.
“It wasn’t huge like a Kardashian ring,” says a witness. “It looked vintage and might have been custom-made. Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig both checked it out!”
So why did Biel wait so long to expose the stone?
“She wanted to wear the ring right away, but Justin has been worried this will be a career killer,” says an insider of the couple, who dated off and on for five years before getting engaged in December. “He’s not sure how he’ll operate as ‘Justin Timberlake, the married man.’”
“The big day’s this summer at a private estate,” says another source. “Monique Lhuillier is her No. 1 choice for the dress.” – via Us Weekly Magazine.
