JWoww Confirms She’s Engaged To Roger Mathews: JWoww Engagement Ring Photo

Jenni “Jwoww” Farley of Jersey Shore has confirmed to In Touch Weekly Magazine today that she’s engaged to long-term boyfriend, now fiance, Roger Mathews.
JWoww tells the tabloid she’s engaged after Mathews proposed recently, while the couple were skydiving? Sound familiar? It should. Somehow, the news leaked to WetPaint.com on Friday, so this “exclusive” is mostly a rehash of information sources already told the website nearly a week ago.
At the time, a production source explained how the proposal was mostly a publicity stunt that was staged and filmed for season two of Snooki and JWoww vs. The World (the engagement also coincides with the season premiere of Jersey Shore): “It happened the middle of last week during filming for season two of Snooki & JWoww. (JWoww) and Roger went skydiving and jumped out of a plane together. After landing safely, Roger shocked her by getting down on one knee and proposing. Of course, she said yes! The crew took great pains to make sure they weren’t followed by photographers and the footage is being kept tightly under wraps. Everyone will have to wait until Season 2 to see it.”

On Friday, Sept. 14, Jenni’s “Jersey Shore” [boyfriend] popped the question during a skydiving session.
“The whole time I’m screaming, ‘What are you doing? What’s going on?’” she says in the latest issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “He’s like, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?’” And she could hardly object after being presented with the ring of her dreams: a cushion cut, mammoth rock with laser beam-like properties. “It’s more than I ever expected,” Jenni tells the magazine. “Roger’s not an average-looking guy, he’s huge: his personality, his size [6’4″]. So I always said, ‘I want my ring like you… big! The bigger the better!’” – via MTV Remote Control.

After months of planning, her [boyfriend] of two-and-a-half years popped the question during a skydiving session. After floating down to earth, “I look over and see a hand-written sign: ‘Jenni, will you … ’ and then I turned to him and freaked out,” recalls Jenni, who was so overwhelmed from her plane jump that she missed both the handwritten sign he’d made and his verbal plea for her hand in marriage.
“The whole time I’m screaming, ‘What are you doing? What’s going on?’” she tells In Touch. “He’s like, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?’”
Of course the answer was an unequivocal “yes.”
