Reports: JWoww Jealous That Snooki Is Engaged & Getting Attention

The tabloids are lopsidedly reporting about Snooki’s accident, in what would make for great free-publicity for the spin-off except an already-tame JWoww and a pregnant and engaged Snooki don’t make the most compelling viewing.
Add to that, rumours that MTV will cancel Jersey Shore in its original form with Snooki confirming to Us Weekly that she’s done being anything but a cameo star.
Star reports JWoww is resentful about Snooki forcing a change in the direction of the spin-off; possibly tanking it and Jersey Shore with it. Moreover, claims the tabloid, JWoww and Snooki are fighting because Snooki’s pulling focus on set and off.
“They are having to redo the creative direction of the spin-off because of the pregnancy,” an insider explains.
Instead of following the girls as they party their way through New Jersey, sources say, the show will focus on Snooki as she prepares to welcome her own little meatball and JWoww, 26, isn’t happy about it.
“Jenni thought the show was supposed to be about their friendship, and now Snooki is causing so much drama because of the baby,” an insider tells Star. “She’s fed up with Snooki getting all the attention.”
And sources say she’s making her feelings known on set.
“They’re just fighting all the time,” one source tells Star. “When they’re on camera they act like nothing is wrong, but there’s so much animosity between them when the camera’s down. It’s uncomfortable for everyone.” – via Star, Celebitchy.
HollywoodLife.com concurs, with its own sources claiming that JWoww is pretending to be happy for Snooki but is resentful that Snooki is engaged while Jwoww waits for her own proposal from Roger Matthews.
“JWoww really thought that she would get engaged to [boyfriend] Roger [Matthews],” a source tells us. “Snooki got pregnant out of nowhere and that prompted her engagement. JWoww feels like Snooki keeps stealing the spotlight and everything is about her.”
JWoww and Roger have been dating for almost two years and she even said in an interview that she’d “never turn down a proposal” from him. – via HollywoodLife.
