Kandi Burruss Keeps the Hits Going: The Kandi Factory Reaches a Ratings High
Kandi Burruss is proving The Kandi Factory isn’t just another reality show spin-off.
The singer and songwriter’s original series delivered a season high with over 1.1 million total viewers in its new time slot this past Sunday night, according to Neilsen.
Best known for writing hit records for TLC and Destiny’s Child, the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member first debuted The Kandi Factory last season. The inspirational show, where she takes unsigned artists then writes them a song based on their life experiences and mentors them through a performance, immediately became a hit with Bravo’s core audience. With strong singers, over-the-top personalities and high stakes to perform well, The Kandi Factory could produce top talent in the music business.
Burruss is not only a heavy-hitter in the music industry, but she is also making waves with her Bedroom Kandi products. There is so much more we will see from the entrepreneur.
Riding this high note, Bravo will air an additional new episode tonight at 10 p.m., featuring American Idol winner Ruben Studdard as a special mentor. Burruss will also be a guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live tonight following The Kandi Factory.
