Kanye Advises Kim Kardashian to Hire New Reps, Remove Herself From Family PR Machine

Kim Kardashian has said that she’s withdrawn from the public eye because Kanye West strongly disapproves of having a public relationship. Moreover, now that they have a child together, he strongly disapproves of North West being raised in front of cameras like Penelope and Mason Disick have been.
Making her boyfriend seem very controlling, Kim says she’s trying to make her man happy. However, she’s clearly missing the attention after nearly three months of virtual solitude, with the odd appearances on Instagram and Twitter.
Also, there are reports that her “celebrity stock” is plummeting as other attention whores (see: Miley Cyrus) take her place. Kim reportedly fears she’s becoming irrelevant… and she’s probably right.
Her whole family is overexposed and oversaturated, which is a large part of why her mother’s talk show supposedly failed. Add to that, there are bigger dramas than what Kim is wearing today. Previously, Kim would do passive-aggressive things to upstage her sisters; for example, Kim lying about being infertile to pull focus from Khloe’s fertility issues. However, there’s nothing Kim can do to pull focus from Khloe’s current personal problems. Kim’s in a rut: between her family melodrama and her controlling baby daddy.
Apparently realising this, in her first and only moment of self-awareness since 2007, Kim is making a move to new PR representation. Stymied by her momager’s management style, Kim is following Kanye’s example of how to appear in public without making such a spectacle of herself (“Do as I say; not as I do!”).
According to Page Six, she’s not only separated from her PR, as reported earlier, she’s fired them completely.
Kim Kardashian has hired a new publicist in a bid to distance herself from her family melodrama.
We’re told the new mother has moved on from PMK*BNC’s Jill Fritzo, who has tirelessly represented the entire Kardashian clan for years, to Sarah Jessica Parker ’s publicist, Slate PR co-founder Ina Treciokas. She also represents
Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson, Liev Schreiber and Justin Theroux. Treciokas’ firm also reps Jennifer Aniston.A source tells us, “Kim wants to set herself apart from the Kardashian p.r. machine, and Kanye West advised her to build her own team.”
Fritzo, currently battling with the Lamar Odom problem, continues to represent the rest of the Kardashians. – via Page Six.
