Kanye West To Decide Whether Proposal Is Shown On KUWTK; See Kim Kardashian’s Ring
Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian on her birthday, and their family and friends have been sharing photo and video.
In addition to the photo of Kim and Kanye immediately after their proposal, here’s another one from Kim’s Instagram of her 15 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond engagement ring.
TMZ.com is reporting that multiple cameras were rolling during the proposal. So this may air on television. Although, Kanye gets final say on what airs and what doesn’t.
Kanye West pulled out all the stops when he proposed to Kim Kardashian last night … paying the orchestra members a relative fortune … all while cameras were rolling.
A member of the orchestra tells TMZ … she was paid 4 times what she usually gets for such a gig — members snagged up to 1k each.
She says no one got wind of Kanye’s plan until 2 days before the event. A contractor reached out to a bunch of musicians in the area. But here’s the thing …The orchestra members kept the secret for a full 2 days. They did sign non-disclosure agreements, but you know how that works …
The woman also tells us … multiple cameras were rolling during Kanye’s proposal, so there’s plenty of material for the Kardashian reality show. We’re told Kanye has final approval over whether it goes on the show or not.
As for the event … she says Kanye was “very hands on.” – via TMZ.
In other news, The Daily Mail is trying to start wedding drama.
At Kim’s previous wedding to Kris Humphries, there was some contention in the family whether her younger brother, Rob Kardashian, or stepfather, Bruce Jenner, should walk Kim down the aisle. It ended up being Bruce, but there was a family discussion on tape about who should walk in her late father’s place.
For the upcoming wedding to Kanye, however, Kris Jenner “wants son Rob to do the honors,” alleges a source, “and not her estranged husband Bruce.”
A source claims, “The drama starts here,” adding, “Kris thinks it should be Rob now [that she and Bruce] are separated and thinks it might be bad form to ask Bruce after the Kris Humphries wedding.” Also, “Kim and the girls are backing Bruce, they still see him as their father.”
GossipCop.com says the claims about Kim’s upcoming weddding to Kanye are “ridiculous”, but they’re not really… since it happened on tape already two years ago.
UPDATE: RadarOnline is contradicting TMZ’s story a little, by clarifying no E! cameras were filming the proposal: “Believe it or not, but the excalibur moment will not be televised — the Kardashians’ home network of E! said no cameras were on hand to document the proposal, a shocker for the first family of reality TV, who usually spare no personal details in what they share with the public.” The family may, however, have filmed it themselves and that could still be used on the show.
