Kanye West: “Now, I Have Two Very Special People To Live For”

This afternoon, Kanye West will make an appearance on Kris Jenner’s talk show Kris. A teaser for the episode has been released and Kanye has a lot to say!
The hip-hop star, designer, and new father reflects on his infamous 2009 Video Music Awards incident. “The last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show. That’s the last thing I want,” he told the audience. His girlfriend’s protective mother notes that West has calmed down since the birth of his daughter North. “I was just like a crazy rock star,” he admits.
West’s mother Donda West passed away in 2007 and he confessed that his wild ways stem from his grief. “There were times after her death, I would put my life at risk. I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for,” he said.
He said that he constantly is asked why he chose Kardashian and he has a simple answer for all the critics, “I’m being with this person because, you know, I love this person, and she’s worth it to me. She’s my joy, and she brought my new joy into the world,” he gushed.
In addition to sharing his love for his two girls, he finally shares a picture of North. The much buzzed about reveal will happen during the show when West debuts the first photos of the 2-month old!
