Kat Von D Walks Off Good Day L.A., Whines About It On Twitter & Facebook

Kat Von D, real name Katherine von Drachenberg, is Paris Hilton now. Well, okay, she’s the less-angry Chris Brown as no chairs or people’s faces were harmed in the making of this b**ch-fit. Von D was supposed to be a guest on Good Day L.A., yesterday morning. Following a series of disputes about her introduction and questions about ex-fiance Jesse James, the reality star left the studio and cursed the producers out on Twitter. Because, evidently, this is how adults act when they can’t get their way.

Von D was invited to promote her reality show, the first trailer for which shows nothing but her relationship with ex-fiance Jesse James. In fact, the premise of the clip is her surprising him with a giant tattoo of his 10th-grade school photo only days before their break-up (she’s keeping the tattoo). That was the clip her people sent the show. And GDLA were pre-approved to ask one question about James so long as no mention was made of him in their intro.

Being that it would have been impossible to introduce a clip of James without mentioning his name, they did so anyway. Von D saw what they were about to read off their teleprompter before it went out, threw a fit and walked out. POOF. She then immediately went on Twitter to bemoan the studio not caving in to her nonsensical demands.

– Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for eachother never fails to dissapoint me.

– @askjillian I didn’t walk out because you used the clip we sent you- I walked out because of your disrespectful intro you guys “snuck” in.

– @askjillian ps. Publicly disrespecting people for the sake of better ratings isn’t something a person of compassion does. Good day. – via Kat Von D’s Twitter.

They didn’t really “sneak” anything in. Logic dictated they would have to introduce her own clip that way. The presenters read her tweets on air and basically said, it was her clip but they intended to be respectful ask one question she could have chosen not to answer and they’d have moved on. But Von D wanted the drama. Anchor Jillian Barberie opined, “You live a public life and were promoting your reality show, which includes him. We sympathize that you broke up, but of course we were going to ask about it. That’s the clip that you sent us.” Pretty much.

Von D’s attitude? Make no apologies and take your whining from Twitter to Facebook. She wrote a self-pitying entry on her page on which she admits not handling the break-up well and basically “accept me or not, watch the show or not.”

Most of the time I’m good at rolling with the punches when things don’t go “as planned.” But somehow, I allowed today to get the best of me…

Although my intentions were never to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings, this isn’t an apology for walking out on a silly morning show interview this morning – and this isn’t an attempt at justifying anything either. I don’t expect people to understand, just like I can’t expect myself to be able to please everyone at all times.

Tomorrow the new season of LA Ink starts and I admit I’m not strong enough to do all the press I committed to doing for the show.Today was a perfect example of that… Watch the show or don’t watch it. – via Kat Von D’s Facebook.

Okay, so let’s NOT watch her turd show so she can become Paris Hilton in every way that matters and sink into obscurity because of laughable ratings.
