New L.A. Ink Promo Shows Kat Von D Designing Doomed Wedding Dress

A few days ago, the producer of Kat Von D’s reality show admitted that along with the rest of the wedding plans, the dress had been designed already. The couple were supposed to marry this Summer in a tacky, tattooed wedding with some pretense of it being traditional because Von D eloped in her previous marriage and wore jeans and looked scruffy.
In the latest promotional trailer for L.A. Ink, Von D talks about her designs for her fashion line. Because she needs one of those too and she has enough style/ wisdom to impart on others. Once she’s done approving hideous dresses, she pensively talks about her wedding plans and tries to stuff the dress design into her team’s schedule. At best they look unimpressed with her lunacy, then they look p**sed that she’s trying to give them more work on a tight deadline.
They look horrified, right? And not just at Von D’s wearing of two different colours of eye-shadow. They don’t look interested and they seem genuinely annoyed at tedious, giggly Von D’s instance that it’s “just one dress… completely not structured” like that has anything to do with the man-hours, level of intricacy, and the kind of dress. Ugh, idiot. She doesn’t seem to have any respect for their work or their opinions “We don’t have the time… and it’s a whole different league [of dress], you know?”
