Kat Von D Designed A Wedding Dress, Jesse James’ Proposal Was Filmed For Reality Show
The wedding of Kat Von D and Jesse James was going to be the tattooed Nazi version of the Kardashian/ Humphries wedding: one big, staged shill taking place only for the entertainment of the public. Von D and James ended their engagement a week ago and Von D has been sulking about it in public and online, making a fool of herself in the process. She even wrote something better suited to a teenager’s journal on her Facebook because Twitter’s 140 characters didn’t give her enough room to complain.
Well, before the bellyaching was some kind of recorded for a reality show romance with her philandering ex-fiance, James. And the “love” was caught on camera. Like the wedding of Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris that would also never have taken place, the proposal itself was caught on camera, according to the producer of Von D’s reality show. And the wedding planning was basically in the bag and the dress had been designed.
“She designed a wedding dress,” Gil Lopez, L.A. Ink’s Executive Producer tells Us Weekly. “We were really able to document what to all of us involved in the story is a fairy tale love story… We really got full access from the moment they got engaged [in January 2011] and how Jesse asked her father and how he proposed, to all the way through her looking for wedding dresses, talks to designers about wedding dresses. She was in love, madly in love.”
“She designed a wedding dress. She asked her clothing designers to help her design a wedding dress. She goes down to Baja and she and Jesse talk about this being the location they want to get married in.” – via Us Weekly.
It sounds like the wedding planning of yet ANOTHER broken engagement, since this is the Summer of break-ups at the moment; Kristin Cavallari also picked out a dress, posed in a few for Life & Style two days before her break-up, and her wedding was 100% planned. These girls need to learn a literal jilting at the altar looks more real than planning the wedding, living the engagement through the tabloids and getting bored and walking away before the wedding day.
