Kate Gosselin covers ITW: Kate and the kids “Destroyed by fame?”
PEOPLE basically did this exact cover already three months ago.
Except PEOPLE got a real interview, a real exclusive, and real insight not already found elsewhere. ITW is borrowing heavily from the story in PEOPLE, that Kate Gosselin and her children are forever changed by fame, and taking it to extremes after what’s happened in the past week.
Jon Gosselin recently told Oprah that his kids are developmentally stunted, rude, superior, and immoral from growing up on television. Kate immediately released a lengthy denial in the form of a blog post. But the damage was pretty much done as evidenced by the wording on this cover.
Here’s the headline from the cover: “(They were so happy). Inside Kate’s sad new life. Destroyed by fame. She had a growing fortune, 8 healthy kids, and a solid marriage. But a bitter split and costly plastic surgery have left her desperate for cash–and leaning on a married man. Jon lashes out: My kids were damaged by being put on TV.”
