Kate Hudson & Matthew Bellamy Welcome A Baby Boy
Kate Hudson this weekend welcomed a baby boy – this is Hudson’s second son; her first with fiance Matthew Bellamy of British band Muse. The news was confirmed by People and Us Weekly; both of whom neglected to mention the baby’s name. It would appear that, like Victoria Beckham’s daughter – born only hours and miles apart – no name has yet been confirmed.
Turns out Kate Hudson’s hunch that she was having a girl was wrong. The actress, 32, and her fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, welcomed a “healthy baby boy” on Saturday in Los Angeles, Hudson’s rep tells PEOPLE. In January, Hudson announced that she and Bellamy, 33, were expecting a baby and the couple got engaged in April after dating for about a year. Hudson didn’t want to know the sex of her unborn baby, but had a feeling it was a girl. – via People
The Oscar-nominated actress, 32, gave birth to a “healthy baby boy” in Los Angeles on Saturday night, her rep confirms. Us Weekly was first to break news of Hudson’s second pregnancy in January 2011. She and the Muse frontman Bellamy, 33, debuted their romance in late spring 2010; they reportedly met years ago in Australia. – via Us Weekly.
There’s some cynicism as to whether the couple will get married or remain on a long engagement before that relationship breaks down too – Hudson’s eldest son’s father is her ex-husband, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.
Hudson and Bellamy pretty much got together and she got knocked-up right away. It was within months of meeting, pretty much; although, they’ve rarely been apart since then. Well, they’ve got a son together now, so that should momentarily quiet some of the naysayers. It’s marginally better than the Teen Moms who got knocked-up and didn’t even know who was the baby’s father; or the current situation with Ryan Phillippe, who may or may not have knocked up his ex-girlfriend, he was at the kid’s birth, he may be on the hook for child support if he hangs around much longer/ goes on the birth certificate, and he’s yet to have a DNA test to determine whether it’s even his kid.
