Kate Moss & Daughter Vogue Magazine September 2011 – Photoshop Disaster

August 16, 2011 by Hollywoodite

Kate Moss was the focus of Vogue’s September 2011 issue. It was her wedding issue plastered with an extremely-long pictorial by her wedding photographer, Mario Testino. They weren’t the only wedding photos by a guest, Terry Richarson also took a bunch of photos and posted them to his blog a few weeks ago. But Testino’s are the official shots and the only ones used in Vogue.

It hasn’t escaped the attention of Photoshop-specific blogs and now Jezebel.com, from where we get the photo below, that Vogue botched one of Testino’s portraits of the bride posing with her daughter, Lila Grace Moss.

The mother and daughter are holding each other and the 9-year-old’s hand is disappearing into the 37-year-old model’s back, like that scene at the end of The Thing remake where the alien can reach into someone’s body using only its fingers. Creepy.  So, Vogue has lazy image editors who can’t Photoshop and who don’t check this stuff before it goes on the live site (this is from Vogue.com and at the time of posting, the image is still live). Noted.
