Yearbook Photos: Kate Upton, Emma Stone, Sigourney Weaver & Christopher Walken

These celebrities haven’t changed much since they were in high school (notwithstanding the people who are barely out of school).

Reddit.com being the repository it is for people whose “friends” or “relatives” or whomever else (that never seems to be the original poster themselves) going to school with famous people, there has been a recent spate of yearbook photos showing movie stars, models, singers etc. as kids (click through for larger images).

This weekend, for example, a poster whose friend went to school with Kate Upton shared their yearbook photo noting that Upton “changed schools quite a bit.” The poster notes of the unusual layout, “Yearbooks in the 90s commonly employed a design that makes these pictures look like they were sitting on top of granite or something… Also, I wouldn’t have identical pictures of students in the same uniform, set uniformly adjacent to this image. It’s real, I promise.”

And about two weeks ago in a post about going to school with famous people, another poster shared Sigourney Weaver’s yearbook photo from their own mother’s yearbook. Noting it’s Weaver’s “senior picture,” that poster explains, “My mom went to high school with Sigourney Weaver. It was an all-girls boarding school in the late 60s. My mom barely knew her, but the school had so much emphasis on polite social interaction that they both knew each other’s names at least.” The photo gives Sigourney Alexandra Weaver’s chosen quote as “Oh, God, please don’t let me be normal!”

A few days before that, another user whose mother went to school with someone famous shared Ronald “Christopher” Walken’s photo offering a Shakespeare quote as his choice.

And, back in November, another user shared a photo of Emily Jean Stone (Emma Stone) who was in middle school. Adding, “‘Yes, [we went to the same] middle school for one year. I didn’t know her, but read on her wikipedia page a while ago that she was at that school when I was, turned to the yearbook for confirmation… this was at Cocopah when she was in 6th grade, according to wikipedia she transfered to Xavier for 7th and 8th… Oh yeah, she was homeschooled for two years after cocopah and before Xavier (according to wiki).”
