Star Magazine Says Katie Holmes Is Pregnant Again, Her Rep Issues A Denial

In short, no, Katie Holmes is not pregnant again.

This week’s Star Magazine contains the usual vague wording, without coming right out and declaring someone pregnant. This cover story is light on the words “pregnant,” and “expecting,” because Holmes is not. Reading the story, it merely alludes to being excited to become pregnant in the future, her daughter wanting a little sister at some point, and so on.

The cover reads: “Katie’s Baby Bombshell. She can’t hide the news anymore; What Tom’s demanding from her; Suri wants a sister; (Katie’s showing).” The “showing” still isn’t “pregnant,” “trimester,” or something more explicitly-worded.

Sources claim: “She’s struggling to contain the news. She can’t wait to be a mom again, and the sooner she can tell the world about it, the happier she’ll be… [Suri asked] if her baby sister was in Katie’s tummy! Katie laughed and whispered something in Suri’s ear. It was clear that Suri was so excited about the prospect of having a younger sibling closer at last… Katie thinks the baby will bring the family closer together…  [Tom is] thrilled at the idea of having another child. [Tom asked Katie] to take time off in the upcoming months to focus on the baby.” Wait? What? What baby?

A rep for Holmes immediately responded to GossipCop.com, saying the tabloid story is “false.” The rep told Celebuzz.com: “She is not pregnant. It’s [a weekly magazine report]. Why would they be a credible source. It’s the same publication she sued last year and won.” Oh YEAH, how deliciously passive-aggressive and right on. Star WAS sued for lacing a generic Scientology auditing story with druggy verbiage suggesting that Holmes was an addict. She sued, she won, and she got a public apology.

Incidentally, Hollyscoop.com declared Holmes pregnant, in early March, following the Vanity Fair Academy Awards party at which everyone stared intently at the slight paunch caused by Holmes’ dress. But she wasn’t pregnant then, and she isn’t pregnant now.
