Kelly Bensimon Launches A New Fragrance
Kelly Bensimon is no longer starring in Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York, but she’s remained in the public eye for years, and her fan base has stuck by her side which has led the former reality star to put out products for them to enjoy.
In Kelly’s latest adventure, she has designed a women’s fragrance, which will be released next month on OpenSky.com as a perfume as well as in a candle and in bath oil form.
“Some people love to eat. I love to smell,” Kelly told Life & Style of her “warm” and “sexy” new fragrance.
Adds the brand, “So many women have never had the opportunity to do a signature scent and a fragrance is all about you, Kelly speaks to the consumer we’re trying to reach.”
Although the fragrance, which Kelly has named In The Spirit Of, has yet to be released, it has already gotten some great feedback. “I recognize fragrance is not democratic; everyone has their own DNA,” Kelly told the NY Post. “I sprayed this on my hair, and four girls were like, ‘This smells sooo good!’”
According to a press release, the fragrance “has a sparkling top note of fresh cut lemon. The middle note accord is honeysuckle meeting with the lush, tropical note of tuberose, accented by a touch of spicy carnation. It rests on a base note accord of clean musk with a hint of the sexiest vanilla that is at once beautiful, warm and deep — just like the woman who inspired it.”
Nicole Winnaman, the founder of Original Scent, projects sales between $6 million and $10 million next year.
In The Spirt Of will be released on OpenSky.com on November 1.
